The tasks we perform are comparable to those of regular dental treatment, but we take extra time to get used to the dentist and the environment of the practice, the treatment room and the instruments we use. We start with simple actions such as taking photos, polishing the teeth and/or a fluoride treatment. During treatment, distraction can help, or the child can choose what we do first. At the end of the treatment we discuss plans for next time.
